font-family:Arial,sans-serif; font-size:14px; font-style:normal; font-weight:normal; line-height:17px; text-decoration:none;\" target=\"_blank\">Una publicaci\u00f3n compartida por Abogados Corporativos (@saberderecho)<\/a><\/p><\/div><\/blockquote>\n<script async src=\"\/\/www.instagram.com\/embed.js\"><\/script>\n\n\n\n<p><\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Qu\u00e9 establece la LOTTT en casos de fuerza mayor<\/mark><\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>De acuerdo con el\u00a0<strong>Art\u00edculo 72, literal i<\/strong>, de la Ley Org\u00e1nica del Trabajo, los Trabajadores y las Trabajadoras (<strong>LOTTT<\/strong>), pueden considerarse justificadas las ausencias laborales cuando est\u00e9n asociadas a\u00a0<strong>desastres naturales<\/strong>, contingencias graves u otras circunstancias que afecten de manera directa la vivienda o la seguridad del grupo familiar.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Este tipo de situaciones se contextualiza dentro de lo que la normativa laboral reconoce como casos fortuitos o de fuerza mayor, lo que implica que la ausencia no debe ser interpretada autom\u00e1ticamente como abandono del puesto de trabajo.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>La cuenta sobre informaci\u00f3n jur\u00eddica\u00a0Saber Derecho\u00a0indic\u00f3 en una publicaci\u00f3n de Instagram que la aplicaci\u00f3n de esta protecci\u00f3n no es autom\u00e1tica y\u00a0<strong>depende de la notificaci\u00f3n al empleador<\/strong>\u00a0y de la verificaci\u00f3n posterior de la situaci\u00f3n que impidi\u00f3 el cumplimiento de la jornada laboral.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"que-debe-hacer-el-trabajador-para-respaldar-su-ausencia\"><strong><mark style=\"background-color:rgba(0, 0, 0, 0)\" class=\"has-inline-color has-vivid-red-color\">Qu\u00e9 debe hacer el trabajador para respaldar su ausencia<\/mark><\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Aunque la ley contempla este tipo de escenarios, especialistas en materia laboral recomiendan cumplir con ciertos pasos b\u00e1sicos para evitar conflictos o sanciones posteriores:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"notificacion-inmediata-al-empleador\"><strong>-Notificaci\u00f3n inmediata al empleador<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p>El trabajador debe informar a la empresa o al departamento de recursos humanos tan pronto como sea posible.
