El video del ataque se viraliz\u00f3, avivando el debate sobre la migraci\u00f3n. Se declar\u00f3 culpable y recibi\u00f3 una sentencia indulgente de \u00aba\u00f1o de ciudad\u00bb, que le permiti\u00f3 cumplir solo tres cuartas partes de su condena.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Tras su liberaci\u00f3n el 10 de octubre de 2024, ICE lo tom\u00f3 bajo custodia.<strong> Adem\u00e1s de la agresi\u00f3n a polic\u00edas<\/strong>, tambi\u00e9n<strong> particip\u00f3 en el robo a una tienda <\/strong>Macy\u2019s, donde \u00e9l y otros desconocidos sustrajeron mercanc\u00eda y golpearon a un guardia de seguridad durante su huida.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>G\u00f3mez Izquiel cruz\u00f3 por primera vez la frontera en Texas el 23 de agosto de 2023, <strong>pero retir\u00f3 su solicitud de asilo y fue expulsado<\/strong>.
